La vera festa della natività di Gesù non è quella anagrafica che ricorda la Sua venuta al mondo (cosa di dubbio valore spirituale e morale), ma quella che ricorda la Sua nascita nel cuore di un uomo,rendendolo così, un uomo nuovo, riconciliato con Dio.
Se Gesù non è nato e non vive nel tuo cuore, se non hai realmente creduto in lui, se non lo segui......hai poco da festeggiare, anzi, ci sono buoni motivi per essere molto preoccupato, perché la vita eterna di Cristo non ti appartiene; perché la nascita, la sofferenza, la morte ingiusta e la resurrezione di Cristo, non hanno ancora prodotto in te nessuna vita nuova e nessuna nuova gloriosa speranza; sei lo stesso di ieri e di domani.
Oggi, però, puoi ancora farlo nascere nel tuo cuore......lascia ai suoi piedi la tua vita ribelle e senza Dio e chiedigli di dartene una nuova nella quale Lui, Gesù, sia il Signore, il Salvatore, il Liberatore, l'Amico fedele, il Consolatore, il Consigliere......sia il "tutto il bene possibile".
